This year’s speaker lineup for Music x Media includes top professionals from the international music industry. In October, Liz Northeast, Senior Vice President of EMEA for Fuga, will bring her international perspective on how the needs of independent artists and record labels are evolving and the new solutions the music business will offer to meet these needs. Liz Northeast was named to the UK’s “Women in Music Roll of Honor” in 2023. Fuga is part of the Downtown Music Holdings company.
Additionally, Kabiru Bello, Vice President of Global A&R at Warner Music, will discuss the future direction of artist development and career building. How are new talents discovered and nurtured at the intersection of intuition, data, and new technology? How can a major label company advance this development internationally in collaboration with artists?
From the perspective of the live sector, we also bring interesting topics to the discussion. We will hear about the planning of event programs, their direction, and requirements. Additionally, an important topic is the planning of time management for event production teams. How can the scheduling pressures of productions be turned into a time management resource?
We will also discuss how to incorporate mutual respect into the working culture of the music industry and how a respectful work environment boosts motivation. In creative work, a respectful and encouraging environment is crucial for success, yet we still encounter belittlement and jealousy.
It’s worth getting your tickets now, as discounted tickets are only on sale for 4 more days, until June 30th!

On Thursday, October 3rd, we focus on key themes in the music and live business – Music x Business. On Friday, October 4th, on the future, sustainability, and responsibility in the music industry – Music x Future.
With Music x Media tickets, you also get access to the Lost In Music gigs, with new, interesting up-and-coming artists and bands. The showcase festival will take over Tampere’s key venues from October 2-4.
