Here you can find the basic information about getting to the Music x Media event venue Tampere Hall – and about the accommodation deals in Tampere. 

Getting there

Kaksipäiväinen Music x Media järjestetään Tampere-talossa 1.-2. lokakuuta.

Collecting your pass before entering the event
Music x Media tickets are exchanged for an event pass before entering the event. Passes can be collected in the lobby of Tampere Hall, on the entrance floor at the Info & Check In desk. You must show a valid ID when collecting the pass. When collecting a student, pensioner or unemployed pass, appropriate certificates must be presented, which entitle you to a discount. Personal belongings can be left at the cloakroom, which is free for delegates.
The cloakroom can be found on the right after the entrance.

The check-in desk is run by Tiketti, with volunteers from Music x Media and a four-person team from Pertin Valinta.

Attending the seminars
Seminars are held on the second and third floor of Tampere Hall. You can reach the seminar rooms by stairs or elevators. Please follow the signs on-site; staff will assist if needed.
The seminar rooms have limited capacity, so it is encouraged to be there before the program starts if you want to ensure your place. You can enter the seminar rooms by showing both your pass and wristband at the door.

The seminars listed in the schedule are free to enter with all passes, and you can leave or enter the seminar rooms during the program.

However, some program sections require registration in advance, more info for these can be found in the schedule and program description.

Event Accessibility
All of Tampere Hall’s conference facilities and public areas are wheelchair-accessible. There are threshold ramps in all doorways and automatically opening exterior doors. The corridors and doorways are wide and the end of the staircase railings is indicated by a tactile marker on the last step. Tampere Hall's accessible toilets are located on the first floor and on the ground floor, which can be accessed by an elevator. Tiketti-, Gramex- and Pågå rooms have an induction loop. 
There is space reserved for wheelchairs in the seminar rooms. Tampere Hall's staff is trained to guide and assist customers with mobility and sensory impairments. We recognise the sunflower lanyard, which signals an invisible disability. 
Tampere Hall is a We Speak Gay venue, ensuring the event is a safe and welcoming place for everyone.

Dining
The Fuuga Restaurant is located on the second floor of Tampere Hall. Lunch is served between 11:30–14:00 on both event days. The price is 16.50 € if purchased in advance, or 17.50 € on-site. You can view the menu and purchase your meals in advance

Opening party
The Music x Media Opening Ceremony will take place torstaina 1.10. Tilaisuudessa kuullaan livemusiikkia ja puheita sekä nautitaan kevyen buffet-pöydän tarjoiluista ja hyvästä seurasta. Networking 
Seminaariohjelman lomassa järjestämme yhteistyökumppaneidemme kanssa erilaisia verkostoitumismahdollisuuksia, joihin kaikilla on vapaa pääsy. 

Networking is also possible through the Eventee app, where you can connect with other participants both before and during the event. On our website’s participants section, you’ll also find all registered attendees who have consented to having their names published.
