Equality and harassment contact person

During the Music x Media 2023 event and the Lost in Music city festival, there will be an equality and harassment contact person available to address any potential incidents of discrimination, harassment, or misconduct, including inappropriate behavior. The harassment contact person will be available even after the event for the entire following week.

You can report harassment to the harassment contact person, based on which event safety can be further improved to better meet the needs. If you wish, you can also receive counseling and guidance on resolving any difficult situations. The harassment contact person is bound by confidentiality.

The goal is to provide a safe space for all event attendees, employees, volunteers, and performers. Event staff will be trained to handle harassment situations, so you can approach any staff member at the event if you feel unsafe and need support for yourself or someone else. If there are designated harassment contact persons at different event locations, you can also approach them, as well as the security personnel, in case of urgent situations.

We all bear the responsibility for our own behavior. Through our actions and attitudes, we can create a more equal, respectful, and open atmosphere, fostering dialogue among fellow human beings. At events, everyone has the right to feel safe without fear of discrimination, harassment, sexual or verbal abuse. Physical and mental integrity is the right of all, and any form of inappropriate treatment is not acceptable at the Music x Media event or Lost in Music city festival venues.
