Opening party 

The opening party of Music x Media is traditionally held at the end of the first day of the event at Tavara-asema!

The first day of Music x Media concludes with the event's official opening party, which will be held on Thursday the 1st of October at 18-20 o'clock at Tavara-asema (Ratapihankatu 33, 33100 Tampere).  

At the event, there will be live music and speeches, as well as a buffet with light refreshments and good company.

All guests registered for a Music x Media seminar pass (including those registered only for Friday) are eligible to attend the opening party.

The City of Tampere is a partner for the opening party.

Did you notice that the Finnish Music Creators’ pre-party is being held at Tavara-asema before the opening event? 

There is only a limited number of spots for the pre-party, so please sign up soon!

Music creators, those interested in making music, and other industry professionals are invited to the pre-party gathering. The program is informal, featuring networking opportunities and light refreshments. Come along to meet other creators and professionals!

The pre-event for Finnish Music Creators' will be held on Thursday, October 1st, 2026, from 17:00 to 18:00 o'clock, prior to the opening party of Music x Media.
