Candidates and voting
The music industry's toughest performers will once again be honored with the Industry Awards on Friday, October 2, 2026, at the Industry Awards gala as part of the Music x Media event.
Anyone has been able to nominate individuals, companies or actions through an open form between 23 May and 6 August 2025. Based on the nominations, juries composed of professionals have compiled the candidates for each category. In their selection, the juries have primarily emphasized the candidates’ expertise and success in their own work, but they have also paid attention to diversity in terms of backgrounds, positions, and geography.
The same panels will also provide their input on the winners. The winners are selected based on a 70/30 split between the panels and public votes. The eligibility period was August 1st, 2025 – July 31st, 2026. If a project began during the eligibility period but concluded afterwards, it is considered in its entirety and assigned to the eligibility period in which it started. The winners will be announced at the Industry Awards gala on October 2nd.
Those registered for Music x Media have been able to vote for their favorites in all categories between September 4th at 10:00 and September 17th.
