Music x Media

Finland’s leading music, entertainment, and event industry seminar event, Music x Media, along with its showcase festival, Lost In Music, is looking for 2-4 interns to join our team in organizing the event taking place in Tampere on September 25-26, 2025.

We are offering 2-4 internship positions in both the professional event (Music x Media) and the showcase festival (Lost In Music). Some positions are suitable for those who have already gained experience in studies and event work, allowing them to take on specific responsibilities within the team. There are also opportunities for first-year students or those with less experience, where the internship focuses more on familiarizing with production and the team through various tasks. We offer both paid and unpaid internships. Compared to the paid internship, the unpaid internship serves more as an introduction to the industry, the team, and the event production process.

Interns will have a versatile role within the event team, with their work focusing either on production or communications. However, all roles may involve tasks related to both fields.

Production intern tasks may include coordination and communication related to speakers or performers, assisting with event venue arrangements, and handling various logistical tasks. Communications intern tasks may include social media content creation, graphic design, and writing texts.

The final roles and responsibilities will be assigned based on the selected interns’ skills and preferences.

We hope applicants:

  • Are positive, solution-oriented, and proactive team players
  • Can perform well under pressure
  • Communicate fluently in Finnish and English, both written and spoken
  • Are confident working with different people and in various environments
  • Love music, culture, and events!

The Music x Media internship lasts approximately 2-3 months, partially part-time during spring/summer, and concluding in October. The majority of work hours will be concentrated in August-September.

The Lost In Music internship lasts 1-2 months, also distributed part-time across spring, summer, and autumn.

The duration, part-time distribution, and start/end dates can be adjusted according to the intern’s work or study situation.

The pre-production work takes place primarily in Helsinki, with some remote work opportunities. However, living in Helsinki is not required. During the event week, the entire team will be working on-site in Tampere.

APPLY NOW! Fill out the application form and attach your CV by April 17, 2025.

At Music x Media and Lost In Music, you’ll gain industry experience, build valuable networks, and work alongside top professionals. Over the years, many of our interns have successfully found employment in the music and event industry – now it’s your turn! <3
