Lotta Savolainen has been appointed as the new CEO of Music x Media. Savolainen will take up her position on October 1, 2025, transferring from her role as artistic director of the Lost In Music festival.
Music x Media is Finland’s largest and one of the world’s oldest networking and meeting places for music and creative industries. The event has been held in Tampere 36 times.
Lotta Savolainen is a long-time music industry professional with diverse experience in both major and indie record companies. During her career, she has worked as a music producer, publicist, agent, mentor, and music journalist, among other roles.
The board of Music x Media is delighted to appoint Savolainen as CEO.
Tiina Vihtkari, Chair of the Board of Music x Media and CEO of Sublime Music Agency, thanks Jani Jalonen, who is moving to a new position with the City of Helsinki, for his excellent work in developing Music x Media.
