The most significant gala for music industry professionals in Finland, Industry Awards gala, is the highlight of Music x Media event. At the award gala, the past year's successes are celebrated. The gala has been honoring accomplished professionals in the music industry since 1995.
The 2025 Industry Awards Gala will be held October 2, at Tampere Hall. Palkintoja tullaan jakamaan neljässä eri kategoriatyypissä: media, label & publishing, live and yleinen.
Candidates for each category are proposed on a separate form. Nominating requires the respondent to do some background research. Please note that the quantity of proposals per party during the nomination phase does not matter. What matters most is the quality and well-reasoned background information about the candidate and why they should be awarded. You can also nominate yourself or the organization you represent. It is important to pay attention to diversity in backgrounds, positions, and geography when making nominations.

The aim of the Gala’s nomination and winner selection process is to ensure a broad-based, open, and inclusive process that involves a wide range of industry stakeholders.
Prosessia kehitetään vuosittain yhteistyössä alan toimijoiden, järjestöjen, raadin jäsenten sekä yleisön kanssa. Tavoitteena on, että ehdokkaiden nimeämiseen ja voittajien valintaan osallistuu mahdollisimman laaja joukko ihmisiä eri puolilta alaa.
Questions and development proposals related to the process have been actively collected over the years through surveys, discussion events, industry events, and direct contact with industry stakeholders. At the beginning of 2026, feedback and development proposals were collected, among other things, regarding the wording of the nomination form questions, award categories, and jury compositions.
