Taking place for the 17th time in Tampere, Lost In Music offers up-and-coming artists the opportunity to perform in front of both audiences and industry professionals. This year, the festival has selected artists who have already seen significant streaming success but may not yet be well known to live audiences or have fully broken through as live performers.
The new production team behind Lost In Music has refreshed the festival with a focus on giving performance opportunities to artists who are at the cusp of breaking through in their careers.
This year’s lineup includes acts like Mirella, OLGA, Bee, Maustetytöt, nublu, Sara Siipola, Turisti, Jaakko Kulta, Averagekidluke, Aliisa Syrjä, Tupe., Sonia, Benjamin, Vilma Alina, Jesse Markin, Lyyti, Stereo Terror, Jore & Zpoppa, BÄMÄ, EBBE, Miss Molly, pins.ku, Senya, NUPU, Sara Bee, Elsa Brotherus, Alma Alanko, Luna Kills, ATLAS, Orvokki, Viitasen Piia, Poni, Kissa, Business City, D.O.P.A., Rosettes, Us, Dalindèo, Timo Lassy Trio, Glayden, Sheperd’s Call, MFM, Nelli Milan sekä Barbitalo.
“We have curated and scaled the music and program offerings so that new artists have the chance to show their talents and perform to the right audience at the right time,” says the festival’s artistic director Aki Roukala.
The festival’s planning has been carefully designed to better serve both performers and the audience. It brings together a musically savvy crowd, including professionals from the music industry, making it a vital platform for artists to gain visibility among booking agents, event organizers, and the wider public.
