Who is Julia Palmu?
Julia Palmu creates Finnish-language electronic pop music where modern production, synthesizers, a rich sound, and catchy melodic hooks meet honest lyrics. Palmu independently released her second single Älä tule paha kakkuin August and more new music is in store for the autumn. At the same time, he is preparing his debut album together with producer-musician Nuutti Vartiaisen kanssa.
The journey of the artist, originally from Kirkkonummi, has taken them from the Czech Republic and Colombia to Helsinki. Palmu lived in Prague for three years, performing at small clubs and festivals across Central Europe with an acoustic duo and busking on the streets. During a roughly two-year stint in Medellín, Palmu recorded a primarily English-language Prologue-EP:nsä artistinimellä Julia Adal. Samoihin aikoihin, 2020, hän feattasi Juan Astronautan kappaleella, joka synkronoitiin yhteen Kolumbian katsotuimmista tv-sarjoista. Nyt Palmu rakentaa Helsingissä omaäänistä suomenkielistä popmaailmaa.

Hög celebrates its 10th anniversary by doing what has always been at the company's core: showcasing artists' work to best effect through high-quality technical execution. Hög Space is a full-scale showcase stage built within the Maestro Hall, where a unique concept reflecting each performer's identity has been created—featuring top-tier sound and a visually spectacular production.
