The most significant gala for music industry professionals in Finland, Industry Awards gala, is the highlight of Music x Media event. At the award gala, the past year's successes are celebrated. The gala has been honoring accomplished professionals in the music industry since 1995.

The names of Vesa-Matti Loiri, HIM, Kikka, Antti Tuisku, Santtu-Matias Rouvala, Maija Vilkkumaa, and Anna-Mari Kähärä have been immortalized on the new star tiles on Walk of Fame.
Every two years, a star is also added to the Walk of Fame for the two Tampere Music Award winners. This year's winner, Paul Spraggon, has been joined by 2022 winner Pete Townshend.

Tampere Music Award
The Tampere Music Award, jointly awarded by Music x Media and the city of Tampere, is a special tribute to a person, entity or idea that has played a significant role in the development of the Finnish and Nordic music industry. The award is part of the joint strategy of the city of Tampere and Music x Media, thanks to which the event has developed into a bustling meeting place for Nordic, Russian and Baltic music industry professionals.
The award is designed each year by a local artist and presented to the winner at the Industry Awards gala. Starting in 2019, the names of the Tampere Music Award winners will be immortalized on Walk of Fame.
