Music x Media

Music x Media and the City of Tampere presented the Creative Economy Innovator Award again this year. Given for the fourth time, the LUO(V)UUS Award honors a person, organization, act, or community that has advanced dialogue between creative sectors and the creative economy, and has actively worked towards their renewal.

The winner of the 2025 LUO(V)UUS Award is ODDfest, a festival that was organized for the first time in June 2025.

ODDfest is a new-generation cultural event that brings together culture, business and international practitioners. The event offers creative professionals and organizations seeking creative expertise the opportunity to connect across national and sectoral boundaries. The festival held in the Lasipalatsi Quarter featured, among other things, musical performances, speakers, art, and short films. ODDfest has a mission to bring the creative industries to the forefront as the growth possibilities of Finland and to put Finnish expertise on the world map. The event is for all who want to help shape the future of creativity and culture.

The winner is selected each year by a rotating jury of creative economy experts. This year’s winner impressed the jury with their open-minded approach to building communities between different creative industry actors and for its courage in making a new initiative related to this collaboration. In addition, the jury’s reasoning included the promotion of inclusivity as well as the year-round maintenance of the brand.

The 2025 LUO(V)UUS Award was given on September 26th in Tampere at the Industry Award Gala.
