Petra Piiroinen is the Producer for the KEMUT network (Sustainable Music Industry Toolkit). The network’s current projects include the knowledge hub Elma.live and the actionable live music climate roadmap ’Cool music’. Piiroinen majored in musicology at Jyväskylä University, graduating with an MPhil in 2019, and has previously worked as the Executive Director of the chamber art event Our Festival and e.g. with Espoo Music Festivals, the Helsinki Philharmonic Orchestra and defunensemble. In 2020, Piiroinen was featured on Nomex’s ’20-under-30 in Nordic Music Biz’ listing, and she is an alumna of Julie’s Bicycle’s Creative Climate Leadership program.
