During my design career, I\u2019ve had the opportunity to create some iconic pieces for musicians like Ville Valo, Amorphis, Kovacs, Bono, Snoop Dogg and Marilyn Manson.<\/p>\n<p>Deafmetal, however, was born from a very personal problem; reinventing the lifeless medical devices behind my ears into something that looked like me. Something that felt like me. Within the first year, Deafmetal became an award-winning innovation that spread across the globe like a wildfire. With Deafmetal jewelry accessories, people of all styles and cultures could not only personalize, but also securely attach their hearing devices with the jewelry\u2019s unique safety features, creating a bridge between fashion design and practical problem-solving.<\/p>\n<p>After years in the fashion industry, I finally feel that my designs are having a profound impact, empowering self-expression in a way that hadn\u2019t existed, and opening up conversations around a rapidly growing hearing loss epidemic through the power of creativity and invention.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Building bridges.
