Music x Media has been running in Tampere since 1989. At the same time with Music x Media, Finland\u2019s leading showcase music festival, <a href=\"https:\/\/lostinmusic.fi\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Lost In Music<\/a> brings together artists, bands, and music enthusiasts to see the most inspiring new musical talent on the verge of their breakthrough.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The interns are primarily assigned to two different roles: one for production and the other for communications\/marketing. Tasks in both roles may overlap between production and communications.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Productional tasks may include coordinating speakers, managing venue production, among others. Communication tasks may involve creating social media content, graphic design, and writing.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The specific roles and tasks of the interns are designed to align with their aspirations, skills, and developmental goals.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We expect our interns to be:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Positive problem solvers and reliable individuals<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Capable of handling pressure<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Proficient in both written and spoken Finnish and English<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Skilled in interacting with diverse individuals in various environments<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Passionate about culture and events!<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The internship for Music x Media typically spans 2-3 months, ideally split between spring and October 2024. The primary period with the most hours will occur in August\/September, with the rest of the internship being part-time. The duration, start and end times, hours, and part-time arrangements can be negotiated to accommodate the interns&#8217; study and\/or work schedules.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Last year&#8217;s communication intern, Miia, reflects on her internship experience as follows:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">&#8221;I learned a great deal about event production and communication, as well as its various stages. I had the opportunity to engage in diverse communication tasks and develop myself in this field. The best part of the internship was undoubtedly our fantastic team and the culmination of our hard work, the Music x Media event itself!&#8221;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">At the three-day Music x Media and Lost in Music event, participants are inspired by current discussions and music, accelerate business, and network. In October, Tampere expects over 1,500 conference attendees, thousands of fans of new music, over 100 speakers, and artists.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Most of the event&#8217;s pre-production takes place in Helsinki, partly remotely, but living in Helsinki is not mandatory.
