Music x Media’s program content is expanding. Upcoming are inspiring sessions on creative innovations, the functioning and licensing of intellectual property, tools for promoting sustainability, and the importance of diversity in work communities.<\/span><\/p>\n

This year, Music x Media focuses on three main themes: Collaboration opportunities on Wednesday (Music x Collaboration), Business directions on Thursday (Music x Business), and Sustainability and the future on Friday (Music x Future).<\/span><\/p>\n

Patent and Registration Office’s IP Clinics<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Patent and Registration Office will organize a full-day IP clinic, where participants can receive advice and support for more effective utilization and protection of IP rights. In collaboration with partners, separate clinics will be held throughout the day on practical utilization of different IP rights, such as trademarks, design, patents, and copyrights.<\/span><\/p>\n

Experts will provide guidance and answer questions in the clinics, helping participants better understand how to use IP rights to gain a competitive edge and protect innovations. Join us to learn and strengthen your IP strategy.<\/span><\/p>\n

The IP clinics are implemented in collaboration with the Patent and Registration Office. This program will be delivered in Finnish.<\/span><\/p>\n

My name is Jenni Ahtiainen, and I’ve been designing accessories under my brand gTIE for almost 20 years. During my design career, I\u2019ve had the opportunity to create some iconic pieces for musicians like Ville Valo, Amorphis, Kovacs, Bono, Snoop Dogg and Marilyn Manson. Deafmetal, however, was born from a very personal problem; reinventing the lifeless medical devices behind my ears into something that looked like me. Something that felt like me. Within the first year, Deafmetal became an award-winning innovation that spread across the globe like a wildfire. With Deafmetal jewelry accessories, people of all styles and cultures could not only personalize, but also securely attach their hearing devices with the jewelry\u2019s unique safety features, creating a bridge between fashion design and practical problem-solving.<\/span><\/p>\n

After years in the fashion industry, I finally feel that my designs are having a profound impact, empowering self-expression in a way that hadn\u2019t existed, and opening up conversations around a rapidly growing hearing loss epidemic through the power of creativity and invention.<\/span><\/p>\n

Representatives from the Kone Foundation, Arts Promotion Centre Finland, Ministry of Education and Culture, Creative Europe program, and Music Promotion Foundation will be involved in the discussion.<\/span><\/p>\n
