The annual Industry Awards gala is part of the Music x Media event and it has been honoring distinguished music industry professionals since 1995.<\/p>\n<p>A total of 31 awards were presented at the Industry Awards gala held at Tampere Hall on Friday, September 26.<\/p>\n<p>Anyone could nominate persons, companies, or achievements using an open form between May 23 and August 6, 2025. Based on the nominations, panels of professionals compiled the nominees for each category. In their selections, the panels emphasized the nominees&#8217; expertise and success in their work, but also diversity in terms of background, position, and geography.<\/p>\n<p>The same panels also gave their opinions on the winners. This year, the winners were selected based on a public vote and the panels&#8217; decisions, with a 50\/50 weighting.
