Young consumers of live culture now and in the future – a dialogue between creators and future hopes.<\/p>\n

Where are the crowds? How do we reach the youth? Are we capturing the attention of generation Z only with four-second videos? Come and listen to a playful dialogue about the future of live culture between creators and the hopes of the future.<\/p>\n

This discussion continues the highly popular and discussed panel \u201cListen, Boomer \u2013 The Future Speaks\u201d from last year. This time, industry veterans will join the voices of young people. The discussion will outline guidelines for live culture and seek ways for its vibrant future while earning points.<\/p>\n

Joining the veterans on stage are Janne Laurila, Program Manager and Musician from Tampereen Kulttuurikamari, and Piia L\u00e4\u00e4veri, Administration Manager of the Helsinki Events Foundation and Chair of TAKU ry.<\/p>\n

Music Documentaries Evening at Metso<\/strong><\/p>\n

As part of Music x Media, we will also bring public content to all Tampere residents. On Wednesday, October 2, in collaboration with Music x Media, Yleisradio, and the City of Tampere, we will organize an evening dedicated to music documentaries at Metso Library. In this public event, we will watch four music documentaries produced by Yleisradio, which also have strong ties to Tampere\u2019s music culture. There will also be brief commentary speeches related to the documentaries. The event will be hosted by Pekka Laine, music journalist at Radio Finland.<\/p>\n

Workshop: Cognitive Load in the Cultural Sector – From Brain Fog to Smooth Workdays (Finnish Institute of Occupational Health)<\/strong><\/p>\n

The working life is full of cognitive load, consisting of continuous information overflow, interruptions, and distractions. Join us for workshop activities where you will gain insights into cognitive load factors and tools to manage the load caused by work.<\/p>\n

In the workshop, we will address the cognitive load of cultural professionals and related practical experiences. Through a collective discussion, we will outline solutions for streamlining work.<\/p>\n

The workshop will be led by Sari K\u00e4pykangas, a specialist at the Finnish Institute of Occupational Health, and Jaakko K\u00e4m\u00e4r\u00e4inen, a supervisor\/musician. Pre-registration is required for groups.<\/p>\n
