Ramona Forsström
Ramona Forsström has served as the CEO of Warner Music Finland, the largest music industry company in Finland, since last fall. Under Warner’s umbrella, the company operates Warner Music Live, a programming agency, and HMC Music Publishing in addition to its record label. Forsström began her career in 1997 as a Product and Promotion Manager at EMI Finland and from 2006, she managed Promotion at Live Nation. In 2008, she joined Warner, where she advanced from international artists’ PR and marketing leadership roles to Marketing Director. In 2021, she was appointed General Manager. Forsström has achieved considerable success in her career, being honored eight times as the Record Company Promotion Person of the Year at the Radio Gala between 2009 and 2017, and also receiving the Promotion/Marketing Person of the Year award at the Music x Media Industry Awards Gala in 2012. She has played a key role in the success stories of local artists such as Antti Tuisku, BEHM, J. Karjalainen, Ellinoora, Kaija Koo, SANNI, Erika Vikman, and Käärijä. Additionally, she has helped facilitate breakthroughs in Finland and the Nordic countries for international stars like Coldplay, Bruno Mars, Dua Lipa, Michael Bublé, and Ed Sheeran. Forsström has been instrumental in transforming Warner into a more dynamic and strategically directed company, with a focus on the well-being of its employees and artists.
